The Borderlands series is all about the type and amount of loot you’re going to get in the game. Borderlands 3 is no different in that regard. So, when you hear the term “Loot Tink,” you’re probably wondering what variety of loot-based item or event it’s going to center around. Here’s everything you need to know about the Borderlands 3 Loot Tink.

What is The Loot Tink in Borderlands 3?

For those who played Borderlands 2, you’re going to recognize the format of the Loot Tink almost immediately. It’s taking over the role of what used to be the Loot Midget. The Loot Tink is a small, super-hyper bandit in the game that’s going to be carrying a massive sack over it’s back, screaming as it runs around a battlefield. These creatures randomly spawn when you’re in the middle of a battle.

When they do pop up, you’re going to want to stop whatever you’re doing and have your team begin firing at the Loot Tink as much as possible. You want to focus fire on it because the Loot Tink will eventually leave the fight, and disappear. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to catch it. Every so often while you’re hitting it, it’s going to lose some ammunition or money it’s carrying in its sack.

After you drop it’s health down to zero, the Loot Tink dies, and it drops the sack it was carrying. Inside that sack is money, ammunition, grenades, and most importantly of all, weapons for you and your friends to loot. Imagine it like a mobile red chest, where it’s going to have good weapons inside of it, but you’re going to find more guns than you would a standard crate. It’s one of the reasons you want to take them out as soon as they arrive because if they get away, you’re going to miss out on all of that sweet loot. You don’t want to miss out on a new gun or some sweet loot you can sell to the shop.

That’s everything you need to know about the Loot Tink from Borderlands 3.
