The return of the Solstice of Heroes event in Destiny 2 means new sets of challenges and quest to fully upgrade your event armor for each of the three classes. You will need to play across a variety on activities, taking on different enemy types, and return sporadically to the EAZ to play some matches there.
When all the challenges are complete, you will need to visit the statue of Heroes in the tower and meditate there to upgrade your armor.

Renewed Armor Set
Solstice Hood
- Complete a run through the EAZ
- Land precision final blows
- Defeat Cabal enemies
Solstice Gloves
- Complete 5 Strikes in the playlist
- Collect elemental Orbs in any activity
- Defeat Guardians in Crucible or Gambit
Solstice Robes
- Complete 5 Adventures
- Collect Arc Orbs in Crucible or Gambit
- Unlock 10 Solstice Packages
Solstice Boots
- Defeat enemies in the EAZ
- Collect Solar Obrs in Strikes
- Defeat enemies in the EAZ using a Void Subclass
Solstice Bond
- Complete 5 Public Events
- Defeat enemies with your Super abilities
- Complete Crucible or Gambit matches
Majestic Armor Set
Hood
- Defeat enemies in Strikes using the Subclass of the day
- Collect Elemental Orbs in the EAZ
- Defeat 20 Bosses
Gloves
- Defeat enemies with elemental damage
- Collect elemental orbs with the matching subclass
- Defeat Guardians with Solar weapons
Robes
- Complete 10 Gambit matches
- Use abilities to defeat enemies
- Use Void weapons to defeat enemies
Boots
- Complete 10 Heroic Public Events
- Collect solar Obrs in Strikes
- Defeat Hive using the subclass of the day
Bond
- Complete 5 Patrols on the Titan
- Defeat enemies in the EAZ
- Kill Guardians with Arc Supers in Crucible or Gambit
Magnificent Armor
- Complete a Nightfall Ordeal on the Master difficulty.
- Complete a Nightmare Hunt.
- Complete Pit of Heresy.
- Win seven Trials of Osiris matches. (Not on a single Passage)
- Complete a Tier 5 Altar of Sorrow three times.
Completing these final objectives will unlock a white glow on your Magnificent armor. You need to upgrade your armor to Magnificent during Solstice of Heroes but can continue to complete these objectives to unlock the glows after the event ends. After you earn your Magnificent set you can continue to earn more randomly rolled pieces from opening Solstice Packages found in the EAZ.
