The Season of Celebration is happening right in Pokémon Go. This event will occur from December 1 and continue until March 1, 2021, so it contains quite a bit of content for the next few months and 2021. Here’s everything you need to know.
New Pokémon – Kalos region
There will be new Pokémon available starting on December 2. You can expect to encounter the first few Pokémon from the Kalos region, so make sure you’re prepared to encounter many of them. Here are all of the first ones arriving.
- Klefki (Please note that Klefki will be appearing only in France.)
Also, players around the world will be encountering distinct Pokémon based on what hemisphere they’re in. Trainers in the northern hemisphere can expect to see more Ice-type Pokémon, and those in the southern hemisphere will encounter more Fire-type Pokémon. We have those specific Pokémon listed out below.
Growlithe and Wingull will be hatching from two-kilometer eggs. Baltoy and Ducklett are hatching from five-kilometer. You can hatch Shinx from five-kilometer eggs if you earn them from adventure sync rewards.
Mega Pokémon for Season of Celebration
You will be able to encounter Mega Charizard X, Mega Gengar, and Mega Abomasnow. Abomasnow is the new Mega Pokémon, so you’ll be able to encounter them in Mega Raids. Mega Charizard X will receive an increased attack bonus through December.
Pokemon Go Battle League Season 6
The new season 6 for Pokémon Go’s Battle League will be happening on December 1. It includes 24 new battle ranks, new rewards, and a new breakdown for how things will work regarding Pokémon, who have gone beyond level 40 and can now level up using XL candy.
Boosted Pokémon spawns
These Pokémon will be receiving boosted spawns in specific regions of the world.
