For much of Fire Emblem: Three Houses mystery leading up to launch, the most significant question marks surrounding the game where the amiibo and if they would be useable with the title.

Thankfully, certain amiibo are useable in-game and offer you rewards and items depending on which ones you use. These useable Amiibo are mainly the Fire Emblem line, such as Marth, Lucina, Roy, etc., and each one rewards the player with items and battle music from the games the amiibo characters were based from to use during paralogue and optional missions.

The way to access the amiibo isn’t correctly spelled out for you, however, as the place you are looking for is the amiibo Gazebo, a tucked-away little area hidden in the exploration section of the Monastery located in the center behind some gates. You can find the exact location in the map above.

The list of amiibo that work include:

  • Super Smash Bros. Corrin Amiibo
  • Super Smash Bros. Corrin (Player 2) Amiibo
  • Super Smash Bros. Lucina Amiibo
  • Super Smash Bros. Marth Amiibo
  • Super Smash Bros. Robin Amiibo
  • Super Smash Bros. Chrom Amiibo
  • Super Smash Bros. Ike Amiibo
  • Super Smash Bros. Roy Amiibo
  • Super Smash Bros. Chrom Amiibo
  • Fire Emblem Warriors Chrom Amiibo

Once you do find it, however, you need to click on the Gazebo and follow the in-game instructions to unlock your in-game rewards. These rewards will pop up around the Gazebo as green lights.

And that’s it. Nothing else really to say, just don’t be expected characters from other Fire Emblem games to be joining your rosters anytime soon like what we had in Fire Emblem: Fates. The amiibo functionality this time around is a bit naff.
