Genshin Impact Gliding Challenge Day 4 – how to get the gold medal

Slow and steady.

The Gliding Challenge has been sending Travellers flying through the air in search of upgrade materials and Primogems. It has been pretty steady-going, until day four through something unusual at us by having a golden insignia in the course that was very close to the ground.

This seems to have gotten the better of a lot of players, but there is a little secret you should know here, just go slow. While it is tempting to try and barrel through the course as quickly as possible, you don’t really need to in order to get the gold medal and all tiers of rewards for the day.

Once you are hitting the green orbs and building up your dashes, and keeping track of the cooldown on your updraft ability the helps you gain height, you shouldn’t have much issue with this one. We are not the best Gliders in Mondstadt by any means, so if we can manage it then you can too.

When you approach the insignia that is close to the ground, slow down, and then allow yourself to gently drop towards it. When you have it, use the updraft ability (R2 on PlayStation) to gain height again and go through the booster that is hanging above it. This will send you darting forward, and you will be back on track.

Oddly enough, going too quickly through the course can make this one difficult to get the gold medal in, because your updraft ability won’t have time to come off cooldown for when you really need it again.
