How do you find the cosmetic pieces for the Ghillie Suit in Ghost Recon Breakpoint?

Recommended Videos

Those who want to immerse themselves in Ghost Recon Breakpoint are going to care about what their character is going to wear in the game. There are plenty of cosmetic options to choose from, and you don’t have to wear what your character is using for stats. You can modify all of this from the customization screen in your main menu. For those who want to look the part of stealthy, here’s how you get the ghillie suit in the game.

How to Get The Ghillie Suit in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

There are two ghillie suits to choose from in the game. Unfortunately, there’s only a top and a bottom available. There’s no top or ghillie head available for players to put on.

Arcturus Ghost Ghillie Suit Top

The Arcturus Ghost Ghillie Suit Top is the most straightforward of the pieces available to players. You’re going to receive this by getting to faction level 40. To get to faction level 40, you want to spend time doing the faction missions available to you in the game. You can find them in the main objective menu on the right side. Each tier of faction level you achieve gets you a new battle reward. You can claim them in the objectives board screen, on the right side.

To get more faction missions, you can speak to the locals and talk to the NPCs in Erewhon. They’re going to have several challenges ready for you. You’re going to discover more while you explore the world.

The Ghost Ghillie Pants and the Warrior Ghillie Top and Bottom

The Ghost Ghillie Pants, which are supposed to be the bottoms of the Arcturus Ghost Top, require players to use Ghost Coins to purchase them. You also need to spend Ghost Coins to get the Arcturus Warrior top and bottom. While it makes sense for the Arcturus Warrior to get locked behind Ghost Coins because they’re a pair, it’s odd Ubisoft has the bottoms for the Ghillie Suit tied to faction rewards behind a paywall.

This indication could be a mistake because some players were able to locate the bottoms by randomly opening up gear chests found throughout the world. These details could get clarified when the game officially releases on Oct. 4, but for now, it looks like players can only get one of the Ghillie tops by naturally playing the game. The other pieces are behind microtransactions. Here are the price break downs for each section:

  • Arcturus Warrior Ghillie Suit Top: 480 Ghost Coins
  • Warrior Ghillie Pants: 480 Ghost Coins

It looks like the Ghost Ghillie Pants are not listed in the Breakpoint store at this time, hinting at the fact players can find them in the world. There are cosmetic items in the appearance tab that directly tell players to locate them in the world or to purchase them from Maria at her store, but the Ghost Ghillie Pants says players need Ghost Coins and don’t list them in the store. There’s hope for this item dropping in the world, then.

Luckily, none of the pieces modify the game. They only make your character look a certain way in the game. None of these cosmetic pieces are going to affect your character’s stats or make them superior to other players.
