How to fix the “Follow Loid” bug in The Heart of Deimos quest in Warframe

He's actually following you.

As you play through the Heart of Deimos quest in Warframe, you will need to the Necralisk a number of times to speak with NPCs there. For one of the parts of the mission, towards the end of the story arc, you will need to follow Loid to a certain location.

Some players are running into a problem at this section, as Loid just follows them around, floating along like a useless disembodied head. What should happen is that a waypoint will spawn showing you where to go, but it seems this doesn’t always happen. Players are then left wandering around the Necralisk wondering what to do.

Thankfully, there is an easy fix. If you simply abort the mission and return to the Orbiter, you can then go the Navigation console and load straight into the Necralisk from there. The instance will reset, fixing Loid and the missing waypoint. This exact bug happened to us when we were playing through the quest, and this is how we fixed. As such, it will hopefully do the same for you.

The problems seems to be that the lack of a waypoint loading means that the mission logic cannot be completed. Without the waypoint there is nowhere to go, and no way to move this part of the quest on to the next stage.

If that doesn’t fix the game, then a full restart might be in order, and if it still won’t work, then we would suggest contact Warframe support to log the issue. Hopefully, it won’t come to that, and a simple mission restart will take care of the problem.
