There’s a second Mr. Tommasi boss fight players are going to encounter later on during their campaign through Control

Bosses in Control put Jesse to test to see if she’s successfully mastered the powers she has. You’re likely going to feel this build-up, but the developers do it in such a fun, exciting way with a legitimately good, solid story, you don’t mind it too much. You get to enjoy a good time and try your new skills against a brand new foe. But sometimes, Control is going to throw you a curveball and give you to an old experience. That’s quite the case with the second Mr. Tommasi fight, later in the game. It’s initially the first boss you face, but there’s another one you need to do. We have the break down of what you need to do to complete it.

How to Beat the Second Mr. Tommasi Boss in Control

Same ol’ Tricks

When you run into the room to face off with Mr. Tommasi, you’re going to see him floating and hovering in the air much like he was during the first time you fought him. While he is moving around the same, he did not have the red aura. The red aura gives him a bit of an advantage this time around, forcing you to change up your tactics. You’re going to focus on throwing objects this time, rather than solely using your gun to deal a majority of it.

You need to destroy his shield as quickly as possible, allowing your gun to do the most damage. Much like during the first time you took him down, you want to fight with him as much as possible. Keeping your sights and abilities on him is going to whittle down his shield quickly.

You have a handful of pillars available for you to use while you’re facing him down. Unfortunately, once you get him down to a quarter of his health, he’s going to summon minions to provide him assistance. Unlike the first time you fought him, these enemies are going to be floating, and appear undead. They’re similar to the ones you encounter while fighting The Anchor. Although, you are going to face off a few guards who are from the first fight. There are not as many, though, and the floating ones are the main issue.

During your fight, you’re going to notice if you focus too much on the minions Mr. Tommasi’s shield is going to recharge. You want to make sure you keep some form of damage on him as much as possible, ensuring that shield remains lowered as often as possible.

As long as you can keep his shield down, and avoid the attacks he does to you while you’re dodging minions, you should be fine. This encounter is not too difficult, and it’s a relatively straightforward pattern process from the boss.
