In the cold, northern areas of Snotinghamscire is another one of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s standing stone puzzles that requires you to line up a series of images to create a bigger image.
These puzzles can prove to be tricky, as you need to position yourself in the right spot, at the right angle, and line the images up to create the symbol given to you. The Aescforda standing stone puzzle is no different, and if you are having trouble figuring out how to solve it, then we have the solution for it right here.
How to solve the Aescforda standing stone puzzle
You can find the puzzle in the middle area of Snotinghamscire, just northwest of Maneis Outpost. You will find the great pillars of rock in a small pond of water, with chunks of ice for you to climb on.
In the center of the rocks is a smaller stone with a symbol and inscription on it. Interacting with this stone will trigger Brendan of Clonfert to speak. Once he is done, it is time to create the symbol you see on this rock.
Use your Odin’s Vision to see images on the rocks around you; these are the pictures you need to line up correctly.
If you go to your left, clockwise around the area, with two sheets of ice, you will be in a spot needed to complete the puzzle. Look in at the rocks, and you will notice the symbol almost complete, but a piece of ice blocking the whole thing in the center.
Luckily, you can take out your bow and break this piece of ice easily to reveal the entire image for you. You will feel your controller vibrate as you get closer to lining it up right, and then the symbol will glow brightly, triggering Eivor to meditate briefly.
This means you’ve solved the puzzle and have netted yourself a Skill Point.
