The error seems to impact players quite a lot in two specific circumstances. The first is players who are using a VPN, and the second is players who are using a public WiFi network.
Due to issues reading the IP address attached to the connection, the game will not allow you to connect ot the servers. There are some steps you can take to try and resolve it.
Turn off Your VPN
If you are using a VPN then you can try turning it off and connecting to the game via your normal connection.
Switch to a private Wifi connection
If you are using a public Wifi connection, then you can try using a private connection, or even a cellphone hotspot, to see if you can connection.
Restart your console, pc, or mobile device
A pretty good port of call for almost all connection issues is to restart your device, this forces a fresh connection to be established to the internet, potentially fixing a multitude of problems.
Reset Your Router
If you are not using a VPN or a public Wifi connection, then you can try resetting your router to refresh your connection to the internet, and that should solve the problem for you.
