The Elemental Crucible event is live in Genshin Impact, and while drawing the rewards from the Crucible itself means using Original Resin, you can work through the Alchemy Handbook just by grinding the activity itself. One of the rewards you can get is for causing Elemental Energy Overflowing effect within three minutes.
This basically means finishing the event in that time frame. As you have 15 minutes total to finish the event, this might seem like a bit of a challenge, but with a couple of little tips, you will get it done without issues.
There are a couple of issues that can trip you up that will just require patience:
- Lag – yes, the event can be laggy. Sometimes you can pick up the clots. Don’t get frustrated and simply try again.
- Your world level needs to match the host – this shouldn’t be an issue as matchmaking seems to be pretty smart, but this could impact you, so be aware of it.
Play with friends
If you are really struggling, it is a good idea to play with some friends so you can all be on the same page. This isn’t essential, however. You can still get it done with random party members through matchmaking. I got it done with a group of randoms without major isse.
Bring your best damage character
This event is all about killing things quickly. You can only use the character that you load in with, so make sure your higher damage-dealing character is active before you interact with the Crucible.
Stack those elemental effects
If you see a party member popping off with some abilities, join in to stack the damage effects, get plenty of synergies, and really dish out some damage.
Save your main abilities
About halfway through the event, some tougher enemies will spawn in. Make sure you have your main ability charged up to cut these guys down as quickly as possible.
Carry three clots at once
You can carry up to three of the same type of clot, so make sure you take advantage of this to use your time better. Plan your routes to large groups of the same elemental clot.
