You will meet a diverse cast of characters in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Some of them will remain as residents who have a home, and you live alongside. Others are only there every so often, and they provide useful items or accessories to add to your island to enhance your experience. One of the visiting characters you will eventually encounter is Saharah.
Her primary role in the game is to give access to unique rugs, wallpaper, and flooring you can use in your home to give your residence a unique twist. She has a selection that is consistently changing, so you may see a particular offering of rugs available, and then the next time you see her, she has new choices, with a handful of old ones. She only sells one type of each item. For example, she has a small, medium, and large rug for sale. The types of items in her inventory are randomly changing, so it’s worth your time to visit her whenever she comes by your island. You can pick out your favorites and add them to your home.
Every time you purchase an item from her, you receive an exchange ticket. If you purchase larger rugs from her, you receive more tickets to use. When you have five exchange tickets, you can turn them into her to receive a random choice of wallpaper or flooring. Much like the rest of her inventory, what your reward can be is random.
Unfortunately, she does not have a direct time she appears. Saharah can appear on your island at any time of the month, any day of the week, in any weather. One thing is for sure, and that is she is somewhere on your island. You can always investigate every inch of your residence to make sure you don’t miss her. She can show up anywhere, so make sure to check the cliffs and the beach to double-check you didn’t miss her.
Make sure to check around your island, double-checking if she’s arrived. There’s not an exact method for her to show up, but when she does, you know you’ll have a chance to improve the aesthetics of your home in some way.
