How to get the Cold Denial Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2

The first one is free.

The Season of Arrivals in Destiny 2 has brought with it a new Pulse Rifle, the Cold Denial. The Cold Denial is a High-Impact frame weapon, so that is slow firing and hard-hitting. It also has increased accuracy when you are not moving, and are aiming down sights.

Cold Denial

You will get your first Cold Denial when you hit Rank 45 in the Season Pass. It is a reward from the free Tier, so you don’t need to put out any cash to get your hands on it. Just grind levels until you hit Rank 45, and you’ll get the Cold Denial.

The Season Pass version will drop with the following perks:

  • Smallbore
  • Flared Magwell
  • Zen Moment
  • Headseeker

After that, the Cold Denial will enter your Umbral Engram loot pool, and you can get it with new rolls from Umbral Engrams, just like any other Legendary weapon. Thanks to the Prismatic Recaster you can get access to this season, you will be able to focus your Umbral Engrams. Turning them into Pyramid Focused Umbral Engrams should narrow down the weapons you can get to a loot pool that contains the Cold Denial.

At Rank 30, you will have gotten access to the Falling Guillotine sword, and once you have the Cold Denial you can start focusing your Engrams into Arrival-Focused Umbral Engrams. These will only drop either the Cold Denial Pulse Rifle or the Falling Guillotine, making them a really easy way to farm roles for both weapons.
