How to get the Falling Guillotine in Destiny 2

Bring a sword.

The Season of Arrivals in Destiny 2 has brought with it a new weapon, the Falling Guillotine. This massive sword is of great interest to Guardians because it comes with the Vortex Frame. This frame allows you to do a spin-to-win attack, very similar to the original Destiny’s Dark Drinker. Everyone likes spinning around like a circle of death, so many folks out there want to know how to get the Falling Guillotine.

The Falling Guillotine also comes with Whirlwind Blade, which causes rapid sword strikes to buff the weapon’s damage. This allows you to attack some enemies rapidly, then do a spin attack to clear out a large group easily.

You will get your first Falling Guillotine when you hit Rank 30 in the Season Pass. It is a reward from the free Tier, so you don’t need to pay to get your hands on it. Just grind levels until you hit Rank 30, and you’ll get the sword.

After that, the sword will enter your Umbral Engram loot pool, and you can get it with new rolls from Umbral Engrams, just like any other Legendary weapon. Thanks to the Prismatic Recaster, you can get access to this season, you will be able to focus your Umbral Engrams. Turning them into Pyramid Focused Umbral Engrams should narrow down the weapons you can get to a loot pool that contains the Falling Guillotine.

At Rank 45, you will get access to the Cold Denial Pulse Rifle, and once you have that, you can start focusing your Engrams into Arrival-Focused Umbral Engrams. These will only drop either the Cold Denial Pulse Rifle or the Falling Guillotine, making them a really easy way to farm roles for both weapons.
