How to get the Vault 94 Scout Armor Mask in Fallout 76

Where do you get it?
Crackdown 3

You can craft an array of different armor sets in Fallout 76, depending on what materials you have available to you and what crafting stations you’re working at. However, a handful of them are only available through quests, missions, or vendors that have recipes they can willingly sell to you. For those looking to obtain the Vault 94 Scout Amor Mask, though, you’ll have to work for it.

The Vault 94 Scout Armor Mask looks like an average scout mask in the game, but it’s covered in branches, vines, and twigs, giving it a distorted and aged look. When you put it on, it gives you a negative 2 to perspective but prevents any damage and disease from airborne hazards. It’s useful if you’re looking to avoid any damage from those types of attacks. What makes it truly special is how you obtain it.

You can only obtain the mask by doing Vault 94 on the expert difficulty, which is the most challenging level to play it on. Once you complete it and complete the mission, it is a guaranteed drop from the mission, and it’s yours. However, after you acquire it once, you can never receive the item again through any other means. It’s a rare drop because of how it is to complete, and once you have it, you won’t be able to gain duplicates in the future.

If you’re looking to add this hefty piece of hardware to your collection, you need to do a rousing party group to take on the Vault 94 raid at its hardest difficulty. Make sure to have vault missions Dead in the Water on your quest log, or you cannot receive the rewards. You should have it as soon as the team leader sets the difficulty for the mission upon arriving at Vault 94.
