Here’s what you need to know about making Hot Crossfire Buns in Destiny 2’s Dawning 2019 event

With the Dawning 2019 event in full swing in Destiny 2, Guardians everywhere are working hard to gather up ingredients to create the best-baked goods to give to their favorite friends all over the solar system. A notable recipe you’ll want to learn how to make is Hot Crossfire Buns.

You’ll need three ingredients to make it:

  • 1 Ether Cane
  • 1 Balanced Flavors
  • 15 Essence of Dawning

The first two ingredients, Ether Cane and Balance Flavors are things you can gather up at the same time. For Ether Cane, you need to take out Falleen enemies anywhere in the solar system. For Balance Flavors, you’ll need to use a Bow, Sniper Rifle, or a Scout Rifle to take out an enemy. If you do this against Falleen, you have the chance to pick up both of these close to one another.

The final ingredients, Essence of Dawning, is awarded to you by completing various activities throughout the game. You can earn them by completing bounties for Eva, patrols, escalation protocols, public events, heroic adventures, Gambit or Crucible matches, Nightfalls, or Forge Completions. After you have 15 Essence of Dawning, throw all of those together into your oven, and you’ll have some well-cooked Hot Crossfire Buns to give out.

You’ll want to give this to Ada-1, who is located in the Tower Annex, nearby The Drifter in the lower levels. If you’re looking for any other recipe in the game, we have those listed out for you.
