In this guide, we will show you the ins and outs of modding your Ghost, and how to do it.

How to Masterwork your Ghost Shell

The first thing to understand is that you need to Masterwork a Ghost Shell to have access to all the possible mods. This will only apply to that Ghost Shell, if you want to use a different one, you will need to Masterwork that as well. Each level upgrade on the way to Masterwork status will cost the following resources:

  • First level is free with 1 Energy capactiy
  • Level 2 – 300 Glimmer, 1 Legendary Shard – 2 Energy Capacity
  • Level 3 – 500 Glimmer, 2 Legendary Shard – 3 Energy Capacity
  • Level 4 – 700 Glimmer, 2 Legendary Shard – 4 Energy Capacity
  • Level 5 – 900 Glimmer, 3 Legendary Shard – 5 Energy Capacity
  • Level 6 – 1100 Glimmer, 3 Legendary Shard – 6 Energy Capacity
  • Level 7 – 1300 Glimmer, 4 Legendary Shard, 1 Enhancement Core – 7 Energy Capacity
  • Level 8 – 1500 Glimmer, 4 Legendary Shard, 1 Enhancement Core – 8 Energy Capacity
  • Level 9 – 1700 Glimmer, 5 Legendary Shard, 2 Enhancement Core – 9 Energy Capacity
  • Level 10 – 2000 Glimmer, 6 Legendary Shard, 3 Enhancement Core – 10 Energy Capacity

To level up the Ghost Shell, just open it in your invetory and then click on the greybar the tells you how much energy and capacity it has.

Equipping Mods

There are four different types of Mods you can put on your Ghost Shell. You can only have one of each type, and they have an energy capacity cost that draws from the overall limit, which is 10 at Masterwork rank.

The better the mod, the higher the cost, so it might take some balancing of you needs to get the loadout that you want. You also shouldn’t be afraid to change it, depending you your goals and activities.

To equip mods, just scroll over the relevant Mod type, then pick the mod you want from the list, paying attention to the capacity requirement. As we said, you will need to balance things.

If you are flush with resources, it is not a bad idea to set up Ghost Shells for each of the activities.
