How to see game time played on PS5

A much needed stamp of dedication.

PlayStation fans, rejoice! You now have the power to know how many painstaking hours you’ve put into Warzone – and really any other game that is compatible on the PS5. This is all due to the excellent detail added to the PS5 UI, which lets you see game time played in just seconds. Here’s how to check it out.

From the console’s main menu, you’ll need to head over to your Profile, which is located in the top-right corner next to the Settings icon. Move over to the Games tab, and a list of all of your compatible games will be present. Play time is posted under each of these and is updated consistently.

Even better, the time previously spent with games on PS4 is also accounted for. Thus, users who’ve put in serious work since 2013 are in for a massive treat.

The tool may not be the best for calculating speed runs, with it only delving into how many hours you’ve put in, but not specifically minutes or seconds. By going into the Games tab in others’ profiles, you can also see a side-by-side comparison of you and your friends’ times.

If you’re seeking a more in-depth look into your gaming history, PlayStation typically releases “Wrap Up” reports at the end of every year. These reports go as far as to telling you your top played genres, modes, and even weekdays in a given year.
