The Tokyo Tour is now open in Mario Kart Tour, which means lots of new Challenges, a new driver in the form of Rosalina, and a new track as Rainbow Road makes its way to the game. In this guide, we will show you how to finish the Challenge to ride on air currents five times.

Mario Kart Tour – How To Ride On Air Currents Five Times

This is a pretty easy Challenge to do. The good news is that you don’t have to do them all in one race, and this will be a Challenge you can do as the opportunity arises if you wish.

You can do this Challenge very easily on the 3DS Mario Circuit in the Rosalina Cup. Pick any driver, kart, and glider that you like, then start the race. Near the end, right after you go through the Castle, there is a jump that will launch you on your glider.

As you glide along, keep an eye on the track and pass over the green pipe that is there. This green pipe is blowing an air current, and it will give you an extra boost, and also count as one instance of riding on an air current. Just make sure that you pass directly over the pip to ride on the air current.

This will work on any course that has a jump and a green pipe close together like this, but this is a straightforward course to finish this Challenge on. You should be easily able to get two per race, and as I said earlier, you don’t need to finish them all in one race.

All you need to do is keep an eye for the green pipes on any of the Mario Circuits in the new Tour for a chance to be able to ride the air currents.
