How to Start No Man’s Sky Expedition 11: Voyagers

To start No Man’s Sky Expedition 11: Voyagers, players need to launch the game and then select the option to start a new save file. This will bring them to a new screen where they can choose what type of save file they want to create. The option players need to choose is the Community Expedition tab.

At the time of writing, December 23, 2023, Expedition 11: Voyagers is set to go live on December 29, 2023, and last until January 8, 2024, as Expedition 11 Redux: Voyagers. The Redux version is the same as the original but doesn’t have as long a runtime because it’s part of the Holiday 2023 rerun of Expeditions.

HomecomingEstablish a base.Decorative Base Parts. Use the Base Computer Plans earned from the Interstellar Milestone to set up a Base Computer and establish a base on a planet.
NaturalistDiscover 14 creatures. A Powerful Scanning System Upgrade and Powerful Hazard Protection Upgrade.Use the scanner to scan creatures on various planets so that they’re registered as discoveries.
The PilgrimExplore on foot for 8,000 U. A Supreme Movement System Upgrade and a Powerful Life Support Upgrade. Walk as much as possible from the start of the Expedition, even when it’s easier to fly. This 8,000 U will go by very quickly.

Adopt 2 Companions6 NipNip Buds and 3 Inventory Slots. Adopt 2 Companion creatures by giving them Creature Pellets from the Planetside Milestone on the first planet landed on. Getting this out of the way early will make everything else a breeze.

Words For Friends
Learn 6 Gek words. 25 De-Scented Bottles, First Spawn Relics, and 320,000 Units. Find Knowledge Stones on planets in Gek systems and take the time to visit and interact with 6 of them as early as possible.
Rendezvous 1Reach the first Rendezvous Point. 1,200 Nanites, 3 Inventory Slots, a Multi-Tool Expansion Slot, and Storage Augmentation. Track the Milestone from the Expedition menu, warp to the system indicated, and land on the planet marked. Use the scanner to track the Rendezvous Point, wait for it to finalize, and then visit it to complete the Milestone.

The Hills Are AliveSummit a mountain of at least 625 U.A Pre-Packaged Thermic Layer Unit and a Supreme Hazard Protection Upgrade. Look for a tall mountain on any planet and climb it. Try to find the highest possible because 625 U is quite high.
Bottled LightningCollect 7 Storm Crystals.Wonder Projector Plans, WAveform Recycler Plans, a Pre-Packaged Advanced Mining Laser Unit, and a Pre-Packaged Personal Refiner Unit. Find a planet with storms on and use the scanner to track down Storm Crystals. These can only be collected during storms, so players must wait for a storm to start before they can find them.
Corrosive BloodRecord a Creature With Blood pH Under 2.5A Supreme Defensive Systems Upgrade and a Pre-Packaged Haz-Mat Gauntlet Unit. Players need to find a Toxic world, the more toxic the better, and land on it. Then, they need to start scanning creatures until they find one with a blood pH that will complete this Milestone. If one Toxic planet doesn’t have the right creatures, they need to fly off and find another so they can try again.
Hunter/KillerRecord a Predator With Aggression Levels Over 27.5pav.A Pre-Packaged Cloaking Device Unit, 2 Supreme Boltcaster Upgrades, and a Pre-Packaged Paralysis Mortar Unit. Players need to land on planets marked as hostile and scan every creature they come across. One world in the starting system for Expedition 11: Voyagers, the Oishida system, has predators that fit this criteria on the planet named Aieus S3.
Deep FreezeExperience Planetary Temperatures Under -80 Degrees Celcius. A Supreme Scanning System Upgrade and a Pre-Packaged Trade Rocket Unit. Scan planets from space to track their temperature and look for ones with the Frozen biome.
The CollectorBuild a Wonder Projector. Assorted Planetary Charts and Specialised Warp Blueprints. Construct the Wonder Project from the plans given in the Bottled Lightning Milestone.
All that GlittersExcavate an Ancient Dig Site. An Atlas Pass Set and Pre-Packaged Optical Drill Unit. Players can get maps for Ancient Dig Sites and other interesting locations from Space Stations. Outside of buying several charts and using them until one reveals an Ancient Dig Site, players can use their scanner to look for Dig Sites on a world and excavate their way down to them with the Terrain Manipulator.

UnwelcomeDiscover a World With a Hostility Quotient Over 84%.5 Larval Core, 2 Supreme Hyperdrive Upgrades, and a Pre-Packaged Launch Auto-Charger Unit. Players need to look for the most hostile worlds possible. This means any world that’s got extreme indicators like temperatures, storms, and general hostility will work. Keep visiting them until one completes this Milestone.
The BountyHarvest 18 Plants.16 Refined Flour, 16 Processed Sugar, 16 Synthetic Honey, and Nutrient Processor Plans. When landing on a planet, find plants using the Scanner and harvest the resources from them using the Haz-Mat Gauntlet Unit from the Corrosive Blood Milestone.
Hot BloodedRecord a Creature With a Body Temp Over 60 Degrees Celcius. A Supreme Mining Beam Upgrade and Fire Water. Look for hot planets and record the creatures on them to complete this Milestone.
Mystery VortexAcquire 6 Vortex Cubes.Craftable Components Plans.Vortex Cubes can be found in or around caves on any world in No Man’s Sky. We’ve seen them show up a lot in the form of buried treasure, so keep digging and it should be easy to acquire 6.
Red SkiesVisit a Red Star.An Anomaly Detector, Supreme Launch Thrusters Upgrade, and a Portable Reactor. Open the Galaxy Map and warp to a system with a red star in it.
Fear The SunTunnel Underground for 2,400 U.Portal Glyph Set and 17 Salvaged Data.On any planet, use the Terrain Manipulator to dig underground and move towards a point of interest. The Milestone will complete very quickly by doing this on the first 2 planets landed on.
Grah! Grah! Grah!Learn 7 Vy’keen Words. 440 Emeril, a Forbidden Multi-Tool Module, a Pre-Packaged Advanced Translator Unit, and Golden Table Plans. Visit Vy’keen systems and look for Knowledge Stones on the planets there. Interact with them to learn Vy’keen words.

PricelessEarn 200,00 units for Discovering a single Creature.Personal Refiner Mk 2 Plans and Diplo Chunks. Scan as many creatures on planets as possible to find the rarest ones that will net the most unites for their discovery.
Blue ExpanseVisit a Blue Star.Nautilon Chamber Plans, Nautilon Advanced Equipment Blueprints, and a Supreme Submarine Drive Upgrade. Look for blue systems in the Galaxy Map and warp to them to complete this Milestone.
Under PressureReach 80 U Below Sea Level.A Terrifying Sample, 2 Powerful Underwater Oxygen Upgrades, and Marine Shelter Plans. Look for water worlds from space in a system, land on them, and swim or use the Nautilon to reach the bottom of the ocean. this Milestone may trigger before that point.
Event HorizonEnter a Black Hole. 15 Salvaged Frigate Modules, 3 Cargo Bulkheads, and a Terrifying Sample. Ask Nada and Polo in the Anomaly for Black Hole locations, follow the directions given, and fly directly into the Black Hole in the system.
The Teeming OceansDiscover 10 Aquatic Creatures. A Pre-Packaged Efficient Water Jets Unit, 1234 Oxygen, and a Supreme Submarine Drive Upgrade. While exploring underwater on any planet, scan and record creatures until this Milestone is completed.
Gold From SaltAcquire an Aquatic Treasure.3 Gold Nuggets and Underwater Construction Plans. Deploy a Naution with a High-Powered Sonar to find the location of an Aquatic Treasure, then unlock it by completing the short puzzle around the structure where it’s located.

Eternal GardenDiscover a World With a Paradise Quotient over 90%. 32 Salvaged Data and an Interstellar Fancy.Look for Paradise Worlds when exploring systems and land on them. There’s no way to track Paradise Quotient, players can only see the highest Paradise Quotient of a planet they’ve already visited.
Hooves of ThunderDocument a Herbivore at Least 7 Meters in Height. Dream Aerial.Record as many creatures as possible while exploring planets and completing other Milestones in this Expedition. Look out for tall ones, and it should be easy to complete this Milestone.
XenobiologyDiscover 6 Exotic Creatures.Assorted Glitches. Exotic creatures are usually the only creatures on their planet, so players must land on all planets with only 1 creature in the Discovery Menu, find it, and scan it.
Reality GrainsEarn 7,700 Nanites. 500 Quicksilver.Nanaites can be earned by selling good at Space Stations or refining certain materials.
Linguistic DecodingLearn 9 Korvax Words.A Divergence Cube, 2 Memory Fragments, and Lubricant. Explore planets in Korvax systems and learn the language from Knowledge Stones on those planets.
StardustDestroy 40 Asteroids. An Emergency Signal Scanner and 2 Supreme Pulse Engine Upgrades. Players should fly into space and destroy as many asteroids as they can until this Milestone completes from the moment they start the Expedition.

During No Man’s Sky Expedition 11: Voyagers, players will explore the universe and make amazing discoveries. It’s all about finding the most impressive flora and fauna on any planet players can find, recording those discoveries, and uploading them for others to see.

The Expedition will also involve the new robotic race, the Autophage. These people are all over the universe and have various secrets to unlock by interacting with Monoliths or seeking out their hidden encampments. This will almost certainly play a huge role in the Expedition as players move through each Phase.

The Redux name simply means it’s a rerun of a past Expedition and helps show players that they’re not missing out on the next Expedition or update in the game.
