This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Rerolling a game can be done in any game that gives a random reward at an early stage in the story. In this guide we show you how to do it for Pokemon Masters.

Rerolling is a common tactic for people who play games with Gacha elements to take part in an early game lottery and try to get the best possible prize. You play the early portion over and over, getting to the lottery, then normally uninstalling if you do not get the item that you want. It is a method of getting the best possible item, and subsequently the best possible start to the game. You can do this in Pokemon Masters if you wish.

Pokémon Masters – How To Reroll

The good news about Pokemon Masters is that the early game lottery element happens about 15 minutes into the game, and you don’t even need to uninstall the game to reroll it and remove the game data. Instead, you can go into the Account Tab in Settings, and hit “Delete Save Data.” This will delete all the save data on the game, and you will get to start the story again.

As you play through the story, you will come to a part where you are shown how to scout for Sync Pairs. This seems to be the point where most people need to decide if they want to reroll the game or not, based on their results. You can get anywhere up to a five-star Sync Pair, so it might be worth rerolling if you get a three-star Syn Pair instead. The chance of a five star, or four-star, Sync Pair seems to be quite low, so keep that in mind.

It is possible to get Sync Pairs like Olivia and Lycanroc, Brendan and Treecko, and Kris and Totodile from the Sync Pair Scouts, so if you get any of them then you got some fortunate rolls indeed.

You also might want to consider playing to the end of Chapter 2, when you can get 600 Gems for connecting your Nintendo Account to Pokemon Masters. This will get you two more Sync Pair Scouts, and you can wait till then to decide if you wish to reroll or not.

So, to maximize your reroll potential, you want to play the Tutorial to the Sync Pair Scout section. After that, claim your Gems from the Present Box and spend them on Sync Pair Scouts. Play till Chapter 2 to get the extra Gem, then spend those on Sync Pair Scouts as well, then make the choice to reroll or not.
