Pilfering Strangledome was recently introduced to Warframe as a new Augment for Khora. Augments are mods that can be equipped in the Arsenal and will change the behaviour of one of the Warframe’s abilities.
How To Get Pilfering Strangledome
Pilfering Strangledome can be acquired from the Steel Meridian once you have reached the rank of General with them, or from the Red Veil once you have achieved the rank of Exalted. It will cost 25,000 Standing, regardless of the Syndicate your purchase it from.
Some people will not have access to these Syndicates based on choices they made earlier in the game. In this case, the good news is that the Augment can be traded between players. It also only has a trade tax of 8,000 Credits, making it quite cheap to trade.
The best way to try and trade for this Augment is to simply swap it with another player for an Augment that they need, but do not have access to. All the Syndicates have useful Augments available to them, so it shouldn’t be hard to get your hands on this without having to drop Platinum on it. Some players will also happily just give you the mod because we are nice like that.
What Does Pilfering Strangledome Do?
Pilfering Strangledome works in a similar fashion to Hydroids Pilfering Swarm Augment. Enemies caught in the Strangledome will have a chance to drop extra loot. The chance to drop extra loot will increase, depending on the Rank of the Augment, which can be upgraded with Endo.

- Rank 1 – 35%
- Rank 2 – 50%
- Rank 3 – 65%
