Update: It’s out! You can now pick it up on the eShop! If you have the shop open, you may just need to restart it for it to update on the UX.

Cadence of Hyrule mixes The Legend of Zelda with Crypt of the Necrodancer. If you had to pick two franchises to jumble together, I am not convinced that many people would pick these two, but somebody did, and that somebody is awesome. In Cadence of Hyrule, you will get to dance on the face of your enemies while collecting all kinds of interesting loot.

The game is due to release today for the Nintendo Switch, but what time does it release at?

What Time Does Cadence Of Hyrule Release?

Unfortunately, Cadence of Hyrule doesn’t seem to have a set release time. The Nintendo eShop doesn’t show a countdown timer to when we can purchase the game. Games on the Nintendo eShop tend to release at midnight on the release date for big titles, or noon of that date for smaller titles. It’s long past noon where I am, and sadly, there is still no sign of the game becoming purchasable.

With no timer, no announced release date, and Cadence of Hyrule seeming to buck the trend of traditional release times on the eShop there isn’t much we can do except wait. I’m aware that a lot of people out there are wondering about this though, so I shall update this article when the game is out. I’ll be watching the eShop like a hawk all day, and the moment I can purchase it, you’ll know about it.

If you are looking for something to play until then, the original Crypt of the Necrodancer is currently 80% off on the Nintendo eShop! If you don’t own it, it is well worth picking up. It’s a superb title that I have put a shocking amount of time into. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into Cadence of Hyrule later today.
