Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a high-octane adventure with a captivating storyline that'll have you hooked to the screen for hours. You'll fight big baddies and their lesser, weaker spawns. You'll get to web-swing and web-glide through the tall skyscrapers of New York City. But most importantly, you'll get to style both Spidermen however you like. Most Spidey Suits unlock progressively as you level up, while some are locked behind optional collectibles. However, even if unlocked, suits must be crafted, and resources are limited. So, which are the best suits in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 you should keep an eye out for? 10. Civil War Suit Screenshot by Gamepur Before you immediately click off this article, give me a 4-word elevator pitch to defend myself: it's got wings. Before the game's release, we listed ten obscure suits we would have liked to see in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, including the Dikto suit. Both Spidermen can glide through NYC early in the game, thanks to web wings. The Civil War Suit amps up this feature with added wings on Spiderman's back. The default look may not impress, but creating the four extra styles will unlock that cool cyan and pink skin. While I absolutely adored this suit, I think it makes Pete look a bit out of character. I couldn't digest a single cutscene with him in this suit, but flying around Manhattan in it is still cool. 9. Upgraded Classic Suit Screenshot by Gamepur On paper, classic suits are pretty boring. When you put them next to the shiny, neon, and furry — yes, there are suits with fur in this game —there's nothing about them that stands out. Still, as you progress through Marvel's Spider-Man 2's iconic story, you'll cut through some plot-heavy sections. Seeing the rise and fall of Venom hits much harder when Pete is dressed up in a classic red-and-blue Spidey suit. And boy, did Insomniac include a plethora of these. Among them, the one that looks the cleanest is the Upgraded Classic Suit. With a matte fabric and a minimalistic black spider logo, it's a suit you can wear for plot purposes without getting color-sick. 8. The End Suit Screenshot by Gamepur This is the first of many Miles Morales best Marvel's Spider-Man 2 suits in this list. Hooded suits have been pretty hit or miss, but I think this one nails Miles' aesthetic. The End Suit gives Miles' Spider-Man just the right amount of swagger. With baggy cargo pants and the black-and-red style, it's perfect for cruising New York City night and day. 7. Black and Gold Suit Screenshot by Gamepur I couldn't have made a best suit list without a black suit for Peter, especially now that Venom is in the picture. While I must include the Classic Black Suit as an honorable mention, the Black and Gold Suit is far more iconic. If you've unlocked the Black and Gold Suit, it means you've hit the level cap, unlocked all skills in the skill tree, and, most likely, have platinumed the game. This suit looks fantastic, especially at night. 6. Miles Morales 2020 Suit Screenshot by Gamepur The Miles Morales 2020 suit is a fan favorite, spawning several pieces of fanart and Funko Pops. How could this incredibly charismatic and original suit not find its way into a list with the best suits in Marvel's Spider-Man 2? It can be unlocked at level 19, which is pretty early in the game. It's the go-to suit to go to the fair and shines the most bright when the New York City nightlights are on. 5. Scarlet Spider Suit Screenshot by Gamepur Unlike Miles, Pete doesn't get to wear hoodies often. The Scarlet Hoodie has been around since 1994, and I just can't get enough of it. It also comes with a couple of suit styles that let you change Spiderman's skin to black or blue. The Scarlet Spider Suit balances Peter's characterization with a bit of edge. It's just quirky enough without straying too much from Spiderman's style. 4. 10th Anniversary Suit Screenshot by Gamepur The 10th Anniversary Suit perfectly captures the essence of what differentiates Miles, a next-gen Spiderman, from Peter, who in this game is more of a millennial. I had the hardest time taking this suit off of Miles. He absolutely rocks that look. It also doesn't help that the color variations for this suit look fantastic, too. There's red, black-and-red, and then this cyan-to-purple skin. 3. Into the Spider-Verse Noir Suit Screenshot by Gamepur This is one of three Spider-Verse suits that Insomniac added in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Watching this suit's animation collide with the realistic NYC background is mindboggling. This team actually made the effort to emulate the films' animation just for these three suits. Pete can wear this suit after unlocking it at level 22. It's the go-to outfit for night stealth missions. 2. Bodega Cat Suit Screenshot by Gamepur In Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, one side activity had Miles save a kitty called Spiderman from the hands of soulless and vile kidnappers. I mean, how else would you describe someone who takes a cat hostage? The suit now has made a definitive return in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. While wearing a red, blue, black, or green hoodie, Spiderman the human can take on enemies while carrying his sidekick, Spiderman, the cat. Plus, the little guy is not just there for the ride; he'll also fight and pose alongside you. 1. Across The Spider-Verse Suit Screenshot by Gamepur For the sake of brevity, I only include one of Miles Morales' Spider-verse suits in this best Marvel's Spider-Man 2 suits list. However, just know that both options are just as good. The Spider-Verse suits are a marvel in combat, traversal, or cutscenes. The way they're minutely animated to contrast with the background is wild. These suit Miles perfectly because they're truly his identity, not borrowed like the Noir Suit. Having Miles wear the Spider-Verse suits feels in character and looks to die for.
