During October, the ghosts and ghouls come out at night. These ghosts fear only a handful of things, and it’s up to brave individuals to take them down. In BitLife, for a limited time, the Ghostbusters Challenge is available for those who want to take on the horrible frights of the night and protect those who need saving. You have to meet a variety of requirements before the end of the challenge before time runs out.
Here are the requirements to complete the Ghostbusters Challenge.
- Live in or emigrate to the USA
- Become an exorcist
- Perform 10 Exorcisms in your own haunted houses
The first requirement for the challenge is fairly straightforward. You can choose to have your character start their life in the United States, or have them emigrate when they reach the age of 18. If you want them to emigrate to the United States, you’d best ensure they keep a clean record and don’t do anything illegal before attempting to emigrate. It also helps to have a job for a few years before doing it, too.
Once you complete the first requirement, the next step is to become an exorcist. To become an exorcist, you need to look through the job screen in the occupation menu. There’s no formal training required for the position, so all you have to do is wait for it to become available, and you should be good to go. You can undertake this career path at any time after you become 18.
When you accept the job, the hard part is purchasing the various homes to perform the exorcisms. To find a haunted house, all you have to do is visit the real estate market and see if a haunted house is available. It will list if the house is haunted in the overall health of the home. You don’t need to purchase 10 different homes, but the house you do buy has to have at least 10 spirits visit it, and you have to remove them.
To exorcise the home’s spirit, click on the haunted house in the assets menu, pick from the available spirits who are haunting the location, and attempt to remove them. Much like the exorcist job, removing the ghost from the house is random so that it can take you several attempts. You can exorcise as many spirits as you can each year, so take your time, and you can always try again.
After you remove your tenth spirit, you will have completed the Ghostbusters challenge.
