How to get the Heavy Handed Mod in Destiny 2

Throwing hands.

Heavy Handed is a powerful mod in Destiny 2 that was introduced in the Season of Dawn. It is an Armor mod that will occasionally come up for sale in Banshee’s Workshop at the Tower for 10 Mod Components.

The Mod was originally a reward form the Tangled Shore Obelisk when it reached Resonance Rank 7, but was added to the Banshee’s Workshop Mod pool when the season ended.

What does the Heavy Handed Mod do?

While Charged with Light, regain half of your melee energy when you use a charged melee ability, consuming one stack of Charged with Light. If you have another Arc Mod in the same piece of armor, you will also get access to a second perk. This perk means that while surrounded by multiple enemies, defeating an enemy with a Fusion Rifle, Shotgun, Sidearm, or Submachine Gun adds ammo for that weapon to your reserves.

Heavy Handed is an excellent mod to use if you are taking advantage of the Charged With Light System. You can use various mods in the game to become Charge With Light, giving you access to special benefits and combat mechanics that can be extremely powerful.

To become Charge with Light, you will need a mod that gives you this benefit under certain conditions. For example, the Taking Charge mod allows you to become Charged with Light by picking up Orbs of Light. If you are running any Masterworked weapons, it becomes extremely easy to stay Charged with Light.
