The Trophy Hunter is a Season of Dawn Aggressive Frame Sniper Rifle. As the season draws to a close, interest in the weapon has gone up for one main reason, the Vorpal Weapon perk. This perk allows the Trophy Hunter to do additional damage to enemies who are using are using their super. This includes other players, bosses, and vehicles. As a result, the Trophy Hunter has become something of a must-have weapon for PvE, while also being able to do good things in PvP with the right roll.
How to get the Trophy Hunter
The first thing you need to do to get the Trophy Hunter is get to Rank 35 of your Season Pass. This will give you a guaranteed Trophy Hunter drop. While this doesn’t have the best perks, it does open up other avenues to get the Trophy Hunter.
Once you have done that, you can then get the weapon from Timelost Bounties through the Obelisk, and you can do some sneaky God Roll farming to try to get the best possible roll for your playstyle.
Once you hit Rank 90 on your Season Pass, the Trophy Hunter will enter your loot pool for finishing Gambit, Crucible, and Strike playlist events, giving you another source to farm it from. The best way to do it is through the Obelisk, as all you need to do is farm Glimmer and Fractaline. It’s a little dull, but a great way to farm for specific rolls.
