Red Dead Redemption 2 players are currently facing a pretty weird issue where they have to manually equip all their guns before getting off from the horse, even if they had them equipped already. They have to do this process every time, if they don’t then the weapons will be left on the horse.

Fix For Equipped Guns Left On The Horse Back Bug – RDR 2

As per the information I have, this is not a bug or anything, this gameplay mechanics have been designed to work like this only. Thankfully, a fix for it has been discovered, not a permanent fix, a temporary one by Reddit user “nocap-com”.

To avoid this issue i.e. where Arthur puts his guns back into the horse:

You can go to Gun Smith and Press “Customize” and select your two primary weapons (rifle/shotgun).

What the above step you do is – it will make Arthur auto equip the weapons when leaving the horse.

However, as mention above this is a temporary solution, and doesn’t work every time you try it. We are hoping that Rockstar Games take notice of this weird mechanics and provide a fix as soon as possible. This is not a game-breaking bug like thing, but still affects immersion.
