Call of Duty: Mobile Has Already Reached 35 Million Downloads

Just like Mario Kart Tour, Call of Duty: Mobile is wasting no time when it comes to getting a record audience on the mobile front. recently reported that the game, which came out on Tuesday of this week, has already managed to reach 35 million downloads. This includes both downloads from Google Play and iOS, though more specific numbers on each platform weren’t released just yet.

“The response from fans across both Android and iOS has been amazing. Already, Call of Duty: Mobile has surpassed 35 million downloads on its way to becoming the #1 ranked iOS in downloads overall, not only among games but among all apps, in 100 countries,” says Rob Kostich, President of Activision, noted. “This is an incredibly fun experience, and we’re only getting started. Congratulations to the teams at Activision and our partners at Tencent’s TiMi Studios for making such a great game for players. And special thanks to our fans for their continued support. There is a ton more to look forward to as we release more content and updates.”

It doesn’t hurt that the game has a free-to-play structure, allowing people to see what it’s all about before having to pay for any in-game content. That might have been what helped Mario Kart Tour push to 90 million since its release last week.

Call of Duty: Mobile is available now on iOS and Google Play. If it’s a console game you’re after, check out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare when it launches on October 25 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
