Activision and Tencent have announced Call of Duty Mobile, a new title in the shooter series for iOS and Android devices.

You can pre-register right now reaching the official Call of Duty Mobile website.

It’s a free-to-play game that brings together maps, modes, weapons, and characters from across the Call of Duty franchise, including Black Ops and the Modern Warfare series.

While at launch the title will only have regular multiplayer gameplay, at the end of the announcement trailer you can see a teaser for the battle royale mode Blackout.

Launch mode will feature Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy and Free-For-All, in iconic maps from the series such as Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked and more.

Along the way, players will earn and unlock classic Call of Duty characters, weapons, scorestreaks, and other gear.

As for the development, “Tencent’s award-winning Timi studio has a proven track record with the success of Honor of Kings and CrossFire, and their dedicated team of die-hard Call of Duty fans are working to create an epic, visceral, and feature-packed mobile action experience with this release,” we read in a press release.

The game is being built through the Unity real-time 3D development platform, which will allow the team to reach and constantly keep the 60 frames per second.
