We’ve just reported that Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 patch is out now, at the end of the black hole event that led to the maintenance of the servers for players on all platforms around the world. Now we’ve got something even meatier.

As we patiently wait for a changelog, to learn about everything that’s changed thanks to this patch, we get news from data miners that the new map is called Apollo. Luckily enough, we also have a screenshot from the above that gives us an idea of how the map is.

The New Fortnite Map

On top of that, we also have POI locations names, which might not tell us a lot, but sure enough, includes places we’ll get very familiar within a short amount of time. You can check the full list of those locations below, as shared by FortniteInsider:

  • BEACHY BUFFS
  • PLEASANT PARK
  • SUNNY SHORES
  • SALTY SPRINGS
  • FRENZY FARM
  • HOLLY HEDGES
  • SLURPY SWAMP
  • LAZY LAKE
  • RETAIL ROW
  • DIRTY DOCKS
  • POWER PLANT
  • WEEPING WOODS

The patch for Chapter 2 Season 1 is out now and weighs in at 14.9GB for PC, 9.023GB for PlayStation 4, and 21.9GB for Xbox One. We don’t know how those are so different but don’t expect them to change depending on the platform.

So, we’ll further update you when more Fortnite details pop up, especially when the game gets back up online with people who almost surely will go crazy finding all the new stuff that Epic Games should have poured down on Apollo.
