Generation four Pokemon have been a highly requested inclusion for some time now from Pokemon Go players. Those same fans will have to wait for a little whole longer, however, to learn when they will be added to the game. If generation three is anything to go by though, it won’t take long for Niantic to flip the switch and add these sought-after Pokemon to the mobile title.
The Pokemon will be based on creatures from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, which were released for the Nintendo DS back in 2006. The fourth generation took us to Sinnoh, where trainers needed to fight off the evil Team Galactic from taking over the world. The fourth generation was the first game to be released on the Nintendo DS and was followed by the Johto remakes of HeartGold and SoulSilver.
