Pokémon GO developer Niantic has a host of events lined up for the rest of the year, and their final event for November, called Friend Fest, kicks off today.

Friend Fest centers around the spirit of wanting to celebrate close friends and family. The general focus of Pokémon for this event are the female and male versions of Nidoran and their evolutions, among others who share similar traits.

Players will encounter these Pokémon more frequently in the wild and while they conduct research tasks. It’s a fitting time, given the United States’ Thanksgiving holiday on Nov. 28.

There are additional bonuses to cutting the stardust cost of trades by half, encouraging trainers to reach out to their friends to see if they’re willing to make a deal. Plus, every trainer now has two special trades per day, making those deals even sweeter.

The final bonus for the event provides a bonus to every trainer who engages in a raid with a friend, giving them an attack boost. If there’s a particular raid in the area you want to tackle with a friend, now’s the time to do it.

The Friend Fest in Pokémon GO starts today and continues until Dec. 2. You can also expect more events from Niantic in December, such as the weekend-long Community Day, celebrating the wonderful year that’s happened in Pokémon GO.
