Pokemon GO Community Successfully Completes Professor Willow’s Global Challenge | Rewards and Dates

Pokemon Go

For Pokemon GO Fest in Chicago, Professor Willow set the community a pretty big challenge. For a while, it looked like Team Instinct might not make it, but those dedicated Trainers pulled through for the rest of the Pokemon GO community. After managing to rack up 5 million research tasks in a day, Team Instinct pulled through, and all the rewards have been unlocked.

The rewards will be available from Tuesday, June 18 to Tuesday, June 25. The rewards that were unlocked are as follows:

  • Double catch candy
  • One rare candy guaranteed per raid
  • 1/2 hatch distance for eggs
  • double hatch candy

On top of that, there will be a Raikou raid day as well. The date and times of the Raids have yet to be announced, although I imagine it will be coming sometime over the next week.

The next Global Challenge will take place during Pokemon GO Fest Dortmund, and will involve the following Challenges:

Hopefully, the next Global Challenge won’t be such a close run thing, but for now, well done to Team Instinct for getting all their research tasks completed!
