Niantic is continuing the trend of rolling out Pokemon Go Community Day Pokemon by announcing that Beldum will be the next pocket monster to takeover the game on Oct. 21 from 1pm to 4PM CT.
During this time, trainers will see increased spawns of the Hoenn region’s prized Pokemon. The three-hour event will also take off a quarter of the distance needed to hatch eggs, as well as increase the duration of lures to three hours long. Beldum that are caught during the event will also feature a yet-to-be-announced move that was previously unavailable to any Beldums caught in the wild.
The event is also likely to continue the Community Day trend of offering a shiny Pokemon variant for trainers to find in the wild. Beldum’s shiny variant is silver colored and is one of the more favorite shiny variants favored within the Pokémon community. It was loved so much that Nintendo even offered a Shiny Beldum to anyone who preordered Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire for the Nintendo 3DS when it was released awhile back.

After Beldum, Community Days are likely to return to starter Pokémon after Chikorita had its turn in the spotlight earlier this month. In November, trainers could see either Cyndaquil or Totodile take the stage in an effort to help trainers complete their Pokédexs one step at a time.
