Niantic has confirmed what a lot of Pokémon Go players feared— the Sinnoh Legendary Pokémon Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf will be region exclusive Pokemon for the foreseeable future and will not cycle to other regions at the end of May.

The Pokemon were added a few weeks ago as incredibly rare wild Pokémon spawns, a first for the game, before also coming to Legendary Raids for a limited time only. Azelf is exclusive to American territories, Mesprit in Europe, and Uxie in Asia.

Many trainers hoped that, just like with previous Legendary Raid Pokémon, they would be cycled across the continent to give everyone a chance to capture them. This, however, is no longer the case.

This makes the trio of Pokémon likely the rarest and hard to find in the game period. The Pokémon only appear to spawn near a body of water once in a blue moon, which means anyone traveling to other countries in hopes of finding them may be severely disappointed.

Of course, trainers from across the world could catch multiple and trade them with friends, but with a ridiculously high Stardust cost, those chances seem even less than likely.

Hopefully, Niantic changes their plans for the trio in the future but for the time being, best of luck in your search, trainers.
