The new Pokémon Pass app allows players who enter participating stores to get exclusive content in the form of wallpapers, digital stickers, and even special Pokémon. The app is now available as a free download on the iOS App Store and Google Play Market. The first giveaway is due to run from May 11 to June 23, and players will get to choose between a Shiny Pikachu and a Shiny Eevee for Pokémon Let’s Go.

To get one of these Pokémon, you can download the app on iOS or Android, then visit a participating Target store. When players who have downloaded the app enter a participating Target store, Pokémon Pass will use geolocation to notify them of nearby reward offerings automatically. The app will then guide them through several prompts, including one to scan a special QR Code found in-store so that they can claim their Shiny Pikachu or Shiny Eevee.

The Shiny Pikachu will be Level 10 and come with Thunderbolt, Double Kick, Double Team, and Thunder skills. The Shiny Eevee will be Level 10 and come with Double Edge, Iron Tail, Helping Hand, and Facade skills.

Players who visit Target stores on May 11 between 10 am and 1 pm local time will also be treated to free giveaways celebrating the release of the upcoming Pokémon Detective Pikachu movie, including a Psyduck promo card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and a movie poster, while supplies last.
