Valkyrie Armor: Tips before you start
Usually, you will have to defeat every Valkyrie to upgrade the Armor to the max, but at the start, you will just require targeting three of the first to get the armor. Valkyrie Armor is divided into three pieces they are, the Waist-guard, Gauntlets, and Cuirass. You will get these pieces by defeating 3 Valkyrie Bosses, and this is won’t be an easy battle. It is highly recommended that you must have minimum Level 6 or 7 of you start entering into their hidden chamber. You can only begin this only after having The Magic Chisel to open Seal Odin Chambers as few Valkyrie are inside the chamber. You will have to unlock realms of Niflheim and Muspelheim by finding 4 cipher pieces for each Realm.
Once are having the chisel and cipher thing is done where you have access to two location Niflheim and Muspelheim you can start your hunt for the Armor. The first thing is to start the side mission ‘Prove your Valour’ that will add tracks of all other Valkyrie on the map. If you had not started this side mission, then go to Midgard. There are four places you can go Mountains, the Foothills, Witches Cave Lower Level and a Hidden Odin’s Chamber at Mason’s Finale. Just pick anyone to start the side mission.
Locations of All Three Valkyrie Armor Pieces
1) Valkyrie Armor Waistguard Piece Location: In Alfhiem you will have to defeat Valkyrie Olrun. She is the easiest to reach, she will drop the Waistguard that will Boost Runic Attacks. So you can use more magic and cause higher damage on enemies.
2) Valkyrie Armor Gauntlets Piece Location: In Muspelheim you will have to first play 5 Muspelheim challenges. After playing them you will face Valkyrie Gondul as the sixth and final challenge. After defeating her she will drop the Gauntlets. This will refresh the cooldown when you make a Runic Kill.
3) Valkyrie Armor Cuirass Piece Location: In Niflheim, you will have to defeat Valkyrie Hildr Boss, she is the toughest one because she is located in a maze which is filled with poison cloud. This will constantly eat a part of health, you have to explore the maze to get rewards that help you to survive the poison. Defeat her and she will drop Cuirass, that will activate Unstoppable Aura perk, it will prevent enemies from blocking your attack.
How To Upgrade Valkyrie Armor
Upgrading Valkyrie Armor requires you to defeat all of them, by killing each Valkyrie bosses you will get upgrade items that will be later used to for maxing out the Armor level. Below is the list of items you will require along with their location. Asgardian Steel & Perfect Asgardian Steel will offer you the first level of upgrades.
- Asgardian Steel – You can earn this from any Valkyrie.
- Perfect Asgardian Steel – You will get this by defeating Queen, Gondul, Rota, Olrun, and Eir.
- Mist Echoes – You can upgrade Cuirass First Level with this item, it is found in Niflheim.
- Haze Weave – You will find this in Niflheim. (Required for final upgrade)
- Aesirbane – You will find this in Niflheim. (Required for final upgrade)
- Niflheim Alloy – You will find this in Niflheim. (Required for final upgrade)
