BitLife ribbons are rewarded to you when your character dies at the end of their life. These ribbons are awarded to them if you were able to meet a certain amount of criteria during that character’s life. Some of these requirements overlap each other, making it difficult to sometimes achieve specific ones because the character might live too long, and instead receive a different ribbon. We’re going to break down all of the available ribbons in the game and detail what you need to do to unlock them, adding them to your profile.
Academic
For the Academic badge, you want your character to be fully involved in school as much as possible. While they’re at school, make sure to have them “study harder” each year to maximize their effort. When they have the chance to attend a university, do the same thing. Many players recommend that you have your character enroll in a school-related position because if you make too much money you might earn a different ribbon. Keep your profits and net worth low to score this ribbon.
Addict
The Addict ribbon is all about having your character die while they have an addiction. You can gain an addiction by taking drugs whenever you have the chance from another character, gamble, and drink as often as possible. you want to avoid going to rehab. Once you have at least two addictions, and your character dies, you should obtain the ribbon.
Bandit
To earn the Bandit ribbon you need to commit a train robbery. However, it has to happen at a precise moment of High Noon (12 PM in your timezone), at 4:20 PM, or at Midnight. You must successfully complete the train robbery. It’s important to avoid having too much money or having a successfully career to avoid these ribbons, so make sure to have a straightforward life after the robbery.
Barbie Girl
For the Barbie Girl ribbon, your character must be a woman. Keep everything simple until you’re out of high school and then attempt to have plastic surgery as many times as possible. So long as you avoid making too much money, and have your character regularly undergoing plastic surgery, you should be good to go to earn this ribbon.
Big Boss
To receive the Big Boss ribbon, you need to become successful in your career, and take a corporate-related job. It’s best to go to college for an English, finance, information systems, mathematics, or science-related degree, and then attend business school after graduating from a university. From there, enter a corporate-related job, work there for as long as you can, working hard every year, and making your way up the corporate ladder until you become CEO.
Cat Lady
Start out as a female for the Cat Lady ribbon, and adopt as many cats as you can throughout your life. Adopt them every year, take care of them as much as you can, and never marry. You also want to make sure to purchase a house to take care of them.
Cunning
There’s a lot you need to do complete the Cunning Ribbon. First, commit any available crime in the game and get caught. When you go to jail, complete the maze to escape. After you get out, go through a sex change surgery, which costs quite a bit of money, and then avoid being caught. After you have a decent life after tall this adventure, you should receive the ribbon.
Deadly
For the Deadly ribbon, you have to kill at least five people. You can kill them by directly committing a crime against them, by fighting them (and badly wounding them), or hiring a hitman to take care of them. The hitman might be the best option to ensure the job is done, but it costs a great deal of money.
Family Guy
This one is pretty boring and straightforward, but you do have to be a male. Have a simple life, marry a wife (and only ever marry them), have a few kids, have a good relationship with all of them, and then die peacefully when you reach old age.
Famous
Becoming famous in BitLife can be difficult, thus making the Famous ribbon a little tedious. You can do this by going through a career as an actor, which starts with the voice acting gig in jobs, or by having a massive amount of social media followers. Keep up with them and unlock the fame meter.
Fertile
You want to have as many children as possible to earn the Fertile ribbon. You want to have at least eight children yourself, but if you only have two or so, your grandchildren also count. However, it’s far easier to marry early with a wife and have the eight children.
Generous
The Generous ribbon is all about providing gifts and presents to other characters in your game. You can earn a high-paying job and then send out gifts to friends or family every year, for at least 30 years.
Geriatric
You have to make it 120 year old for the Geriatric ribbon. The best way to do this is to keep your happiness and health up as high as you can, at 100%, ever year. After you reach 100, you need to make sure your happiness remains on that high bar. You can go for walks, meditate, work in the garden, or read books to keep yourself centered.
Globetrotter
For the Globetrotter ribbon, you have to visit at least 20 countries, which can be difficult for most characters to achieve. You want to make your character has plenty of money to move around with, and they remain on the good sign of every country they visit.
Gold Digger
The Gold Digger ribbon is relatively difficult. While maintaining a high level of look, you want to marry into an affluent lifestyle, and you have to never have a job. If you keep your look stats high and always date, seeking to find a character with a massive net worth.
Hero
You have to save someone’s life for the Hero ribbon. Unfortunately, you can’t do it as someone who works in the field of regularly saving someone’s life, such as a police officer, paramedic, or firefighter. A way you can earn it is by performing the Heimlich maneuver on a family member, going into the military and failing the minefield puzzle (and dying), or attempt to save someone rather than calling for help.
Highroller
With the Highroller ribbon, you want to live in the casino, and you want to win a lot of money while you’re there. You want to gamble as many times as possible, and have a high return, making a lot of money from it. To make sure you don’t fail other aspects of life doing this, having a decent job can ensure you earn the ribbon. You don’t want to make too much money from gambling, though.
Houdini
The Houdini ribbon is a nightmare for many BitLife players. It’s all about having you go to jail, successfully escaping jail, and then doing it again to escape multiple times. Players have discovered it takes at least 10 successful escapes for you to earn this badge.
Influencer
You want to become a social media influencer to earn this ribbon. Sign-up for a social media account when your character becomes 14, and post to that social media account each year, doing it multiple times. You want your character to spend plenty of time on social media, and make sure each of your accounts are verified.
Jailbird
The Jailbird is a fairly straightforward one. All you have to do go to jail at least once, successfully escape the establishment, and then eventually, return to it. Your character has to remain in jail until they die.
Lazy
Basically, keep hitting that “year,” button for the Lazy ribbon. You don’t want to do too much, and keep living life. Don’t do anything. Don’t have a job. Don’t take to friends. Don’t do anything. So long as you make it to at least 50 years old, you’re good.
Loaded
It’s time to make so money to earn the Loaded ribbon. Your goal is to reach 20 million in your net worth. A good way to do this to become famous, become a doctor, and save a lot of your money. Be smart about how you earn it, and make sure to be careful about the type of career your choose. Becoming an actor is always an option if you find the voice acting career is available in the jobs tab.
Lustful
All you have to do for this ribbon is to have at least 20 sexual partners to earn the Lustful ribbon. It’s nothing too difficult.
Mediocre
The Mediocre ribbon is about as easy as the Lazy one. All you have to do is have as basic job, basic life, and basic lifestyle. Don’t do anything too special, and just live your life, and die of old age.
Model Bitizen
The Model Bitizen comes with a variety of requirements. First and foremost: don’t disrespect any of the characters. You want to be a kind, good character, so don’t do anything mean, cruel, or rude. You want to do these things throughout your life:
- Compliment other characters 10 times
- Die with a net worth of at least 50,000.
- Give money to any friends, family, or children, 10 times.
- Never ask for money.
- Spend time with your children 10 times
Monopoly
To earn the Monopoly ribbon, you want to buy houses, renovate them, and then sell them again on the market. You have to do this at least 10 times, and then earn at least a 10 million dollars from the process.
Mooch
All you have to do for this ribbon is to constantly ask for money from the other characters in the game. Ask for money from everyone.
Movie Buff
For the Movie Buff ribbon, you want to go to the movies once a year, doing it at least 20 times, but doing it every year is pretty easy.
Rich
The Rich ribbon is fairly simple, but you want to make sure to not have too much. Your character has to have at least five million dollars in their net worth, but they cannot have more than 20 million. When you reach over 20 million, you qualify for the Loaded ribbon, which you earn at the end of the game.
Rowdy
You want to spend your younger years hanging out in club? Now’s your chance. You can earn the Rowdy ribbon by going clubbing at least 10 times, arguing with those around you, taking drugs while there, and throw house parties. It’s time to party.
Scandalous
The Scandalous ribbon is earned by doing various crimes in the game, and then going to jail. You don’t want to try to escape. You merely want to go to jail five times, serve your sentence, and then commit more crimes.
Stupid
This one is worse than the Lazy ribbon. You want to basically do nothing for this ribbon, but you also want to have extremely low smarts. Never improve it, and never do anything about it.
Successful
The Successful ribbon is a bit like living a basic life, but you want to make sure you die with at least 200,000 to 250,000 net worth. Make sure to avoid going to prison, doing anything negative to other family members or friends, and keep your nose clean.
Tarzan
For the Tarzan ribbon, you want to own a variety of exotic pets. Unfortunately, you need to have the Bitizenship level of the game to earn this one, because that’s the only way to access the exotic pet dealer. It’s much like being a Cat Lady, where you purchase several exotic pets and take care of them.
Teammate
To earn the Teammate ribbon, you have to work as a developer for BitLife. To do this, go to school, have high smarts, and learn about Computer Science at a university. From there, make your way to Miami, look for an application developer job, and look to work for Candywriter, the game developer. Work for them, and help them out, and you will earn this ribbon by the end of your life.
Thief
The Thief ribbon is all about committing crimes, but you need to do specific ones. You have to pickpocket someone, steal a car, and break and enter another person’s house. To earn the ribbon, you have to commit 10 crimes.
Unlucky
You have to be extremely Unlucky to earn this ribbon. The character in your game must die at a young age before they reach 30. They can die by succumbing to an illness before this age, or have something horrible happen to them. Unfortunately, it’s luck-based, and it has to be a disease.
Veteran
To earn the Veteran ribbon, your character has to serve in the military and make their way up through the ranks and make a career out of it. However, you don’t want to just jump into it. You want to do it by becoming an officer, so don’t do it immediately after high school. Instead, go to a university, and then enter the military as an officer. After that, continue through the career path until retirement.
Wasteful
For this ribbon, all you have to do is start a new life and “surrender.” To surrender, go to the activities tabs and find the option at the bottom, and click yes.
Wicked
To earn the Wicked ribbon, your character must earn an STD and spread it to at least five other people in the game. You can also abandon any children you have, cheat on your partners, and leave your pets. Spreading an STD is probably the easiest way to earn this ribbon.
