How to make a Barbatos Boon in Genshin Impact

Drink responsibly.
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information

It’s really a shame that Genshin Impact isn’t an MMORPG, because it is jam-packed with little activities that would be quite fun with friends. One of those activities is bartending: players can mix drinks using a similar recipe system to the food cooking mechanic. This is done for no other reason than to fraternize with the alcohol-imbibing citizens of Mondstadt and score some quest rewards during a certain special event. In this quick guide, we will explain how to make the Barbatos’ Boon cocktail in Genshin Impact.

How to make Barbatos’ Boon in Genshin Impact

Drink-mixing was introduced in Genshin Impact during the Of Drink A-Dreaming event, and it allows players to make a variety of cocktails by combining items. This is done at the Angel’s Share tavern in Mondstadt, where players can also purchase pre-made drinks.

Barbatos’ Boon – referred to as “refreshing and fizzy juice” by some NPCs, which ultimately gives you the clues you need for the recipe – is one of the many cocktails you can mix in Genshin Impact. The recipe for Barbatos’ Boon is:

  • Fizzy Water
  • Juice
  • Mint

Juice and Fizzy Water are event-specific items, while Mint can be acquired at any time from Chloris, the botanist NPC who roams around Mondstadt. Mint costs 150 Mora, and is used in a ton of recipes in Genshin Impact besides Barbatos’ Boon, which makes it a handy ingredient to have stocked up.

And there you have it! Now you know how to make Barbatos’ Boon in Genshin Impact. This drink doesn’t have a purpose outside of the Of Drink A-Dreaming event and its associated quests in Genshin Impact. When the event rolls around again, you will be ready to serve the patrons of the Angel’s Share tavern.
