Fortnite Community Battles Bootcamp is a new challenge system where players will be able to earn free V-Bucks.

The free-to-play behemoth is allowing players to complete challenges, secure a top leaderboard position, and win up to 2500 V-Bucks. To participate, players will have to go through a sign-up process. The prize breakdown is as follows:

  • 1st – 2,500 V-Bucks
  • 2nd – 2,250 V-Bucks
  • 3rd – 2,000 V-Bucks
  • 4th – 1,750 V-Bucks
  • 5th – 1,500 V-Bucks
  • 6th – 1,250 V-Bucks
  • 7-25th – 1,000 V-Bucks
  • 26-100th – 800 V-Bucks
  • 101-500th – 500 V-Bucks
  • 500-5,000th – 300 V-Bucks
  • 5,001-10,000th – 250 V-Bucks
  • 10,001-20,000th – 200 V-Bucks

Completing all of the daily challenges will result in reaching the final challenge, netting players a cool Kab-Llama Spray just for making it to the end.

The competition ends at 11 AM PT on August 23, 2020. Another important detail is that the contest indicates only residents of Germany, Austria, or Switzerland 13 years and older may participate. However, many users from the U.S., Canada, and other regions have made it known that there are no restrictions on signing up. This could indicate a chance to play for everyone, but prizes are only allocated to players from certain regions.
