Destiny 2’s Season of the Worthy begins later today. Trials is returning, there is a new threat as the Almighty plummets towards the Last City, and the game will be filled with new activities for you to take part in throughout the season.

Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance for Update 2.8.0.Some Destiny API features on Bungie.net, mobile and third-party apps will be disabled.Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
8:45 AM PDT1545 UTCDestiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. At 9 AM PDT, Update 2.8.0 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2 at 10:01 AM PDT.

The long and short of it is that Destiny 2 will be going offline at 8:45 am PDT, and will be back online at 10:01 am PDT, which is when you can jump in and play. The update itself will be available to download at 9:00 am PDT.
