Fortnite is filled with different Landmarks. These areas are not marked on the map, but will often crop up as places you need to visit to complete challenges. Crash Site is one such place.
You can find Crash Site located on the largest of the islands in the bay between The Shark and Sweat Sands. Right in the center of the island, you will find the wreckage of a plane, and this is Crash Site.
As far as places to visit in the game go, it is definitely not the best, forming a kind of dead zone between the good loot to be found near Lockie Lighthouse, The Shark, and Sweaty Sands.
You might find a couple of weapon or ammo spawns here, or a chest in the crashed plane itself, but that is about it. When you drop here, you will instantly be looking to head to a new location. The Shark is great for weapons, but you will need to take out some Henchmen to get at them, and the boss. Sweaty Sands is probably my favorite place in this part of the map. Plenty of chest and ammo spawns to find, and you can really load up on weapons before heading deeper into the map.
If you are visiting Crash Site to finish up the Meowslces Mischief challenge that asks you to visit Crash Site, Coral Cove, and Stack Shack without getting in the water, we have a guide that will show you a quick and easy way to do it.
