With the Lament quest active in Destiny 2, thanks to the hard work of all those Guardians who took part in the race for World’s First in the Deep Stone Crypt Raid, people are working towards getting their new Exotic Sword.

It’s a long enough quest, with plenty of different things that you will need to do. One of the steps is to find a blade piece in the Glassway Strike. If you thought you would need to scour the entire Strike looking for a well hidden piece of a sword, then we have good news.

To get this item, all you need to do is play through the Strike. It dropped for us during the last fight with the two Vex bosses. We didn’t have to do anything special to get it, just kicking some Vex around the room caused it to drop. So, to play the Strike just open up your Director, head to Destinations and then pick Europa. Click on the Glassway Strike to load in and then get to work.

If you are solo, don’t worry, it will load you in with a fireteam thanks to the magic of match making, so you won’t get bogged down trying to get through the Strike alone.

If you need help with any other steps in the quest, we have a full guide on how to get your hands on The Lament Exotic Sword. It really is an incredible weapon. You can guard and light attack to build up stacks of a damage buff which you can then release with a heavy attack, doing ridiculous damage. We have had a hard time test just how much damage you can do because everything keeps dying before we can unleash the fully stacked buff. Move over Falling Guillotine, The Lament is here.
