If you are looking to have your Sims get back to nature, there is no better way than to turn them into a PlantSim. There are a variety of ways to do it, depending on your style of gameplay. If you so desire, you can grind your way to the top, growing crops and studying until your Sim becomes a master farmer. Or, you can type in a quick cheat and become a PlantSim with no hassle at all.

Using Cheats To Become A PlantSim
There’s no other way to say it: the fastest and easiest way to become a PlantSim is to use a cheat.
Start by pulling up the cheat bar (ctrl +alt + c) and type in the incredibly useful testingcheats true cheat, shiftclick the Sim of your choice and select Make Into PlantSim and bada bing bada boom: your Sim is a PlantSim.
Start A Scenario To Become A PlantSiim
PlantSims were originally introduced to The Sims 4 via a temporary Scenario, but now that Scenario is available whenever you want. Select the Plant-A-Sim Scenario and when it starts up you will find several Forbidden Fruit of the PlantSim in you Sim’s inventory. Simply have your Sim eat one, and they’ll be green and leafy in no time.
Become A PlantSim Using Partial Cheats
Maybe you want the experience of going through the motions of turning your Sim into a PlantSIm, but the idea of having them max out their Gardening skill the old-fashioned way seems too time-consuming. Fortunately, there’s a middle ground. First, you type in your handy dandy testingcheats true cheat. Then, you follow it up with “stats.set_skill_level major_gardening 10” to instantly max out their Gardening skill.
Now, you might want to throw in a few motherlode cheats, too, since things are about to get expensive. The first thing you’ll need is the Magic PlantSim Stump. After that, you must collect six different magic beans and plant them in the stump. The only way to get the beans is to buy and then open rare seed packets—and they don’t come cheap.
Each rare seed packet costs 1,000 Simoleons and can dispense any number of rare plants. It might take you upwards of twenty packets before you can complete your collection.
Once you have placed the seeds in the stump, you will unlock the “water” interaction and a tree with a hollow trunk will rapidly grow. Send your Sim into the tree, and they will emerge with several Forbidden Fruit of the Plantsim in their inventory, which they can eat to turn into a PlantSim.
How To Become A PlantSim Legitimatelty
If you’re a purist, you can—of course—turn your Sim into a PlantSim with no cheats at all. First, you must fill up their Gardening skill. You can do this by planting crops, tending to plants, and reading Gardening skill books. It will take some time, but your Sim will reap benefits and possibly collect a tidy sum from selling their crops while they manage their farm.
Once your Gardening skill is maxed out, you simply need to follow the steps in the previous section, and you’ll have an all-natural PlantSim.
Care And Keeping
Once your Sim is properly green and leafy, it will need some special care! Your PlantSim’s needs differ from those of a normal Sim. Their bathroom need will be swapped with a need for water, which can be satisfied by drinking water from the sink or taking a quick shower. Keep an eye on this meter; it drops quickly.
They also will no longer need to eat and will instead photosynthesize. Make sure your Sim gets plenty of sunlight to keep that meter filled. If they get puckish throughout the night, your PlantSim can absorb solar energy from plants.
