How to help Wisp and find Spirit Pieces in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Spooky!
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The island you live on in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has some secrets. And one of those secrets is a little spooky. Wisp is a small, forlorn cost that you can only find at night time.

Wisp will only come out at night, and you might be lucky enough to run into him as you explore your island. When you find him first, he will be scared of you, even though as a ghost, it should be the other way around.

He is so scared, bits of his spirit will fall off and float away, and Wisp will ask you to get them back for him. It is your fault, so it’s only fair to help the little guy out.

To find the pieces, explore the island, and have your bug-catching net ready. When you see a piece floating along, grab it up with the net, then get back to exploring. You will need to find five pieces in total to make Wisp whole again.

When you have all five, return to where you found Wisp and give them to him. He will give you a gift, asking you to pick something new, or something expensive. There doesn’t seem to be any one “correct” answer here, and Wisps present also appears to be random.
