How to throw different shield items and healing items in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 has arrived, which means new challenges. The format of challenges has changed somewhat, and you will now find them under the Battle Pass section of the menu. You will be able to see the Challenge Table, which will tell you all the different tasks you will be doing this week.

Some of the challenges are fairly straightforward, but some of them introduce entirely new mechanics to the game. One of this week’s challenges is to throw different shield items and healing items, which is certainly a new one.

There are a couple of things to understand about this challenge to get it done. First, you can’t throw the same items too many times. You can only throw an item once; then, you have to throw a different item. You are going to need to find three different items, like a Small Potion, Large Potion, Bandages, or a Med Kit. Then you can throw each one to finish the challenge.

The Agency Map

A lot of it boils down to luck, but you can get luck on your side by going to the Agency headquarters on the central Eye Land in the game. This place is packed with items, including a multitude of different kinds of healing items. Take out any henchmen you find, explore the building full, especially the basement, and gather up the items you need. Then you can throw them all quickly and finish up the challenge.

To throw the items, treat them the same you would treat a grenade. Hold the aim button to bring up the target reticle, then the fire button to throw the item. If you plan on being sneaky, the Bandage Bazooka doesn’t count for this particular challenge.
