Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 centers around the Agency, a group of daring spies and agents who get up to all kinds of mischief. As you progress through your Battle Pass, you unlock the agent skins. The game also gives you the option of two different styles, one for Ghost and one for Shadow. To unlock those styles, you need to complete weekly challenges, then a specific challenge for the style that you want.Â
Should you pick Ghost or Shadow?
The main question people are asking is if they should pick Ghost or Shadow styles. At the moment, it is hard to say. There doesn’t appear to be any mechanic in the game where certain skins would benefit you. It would seem, for now, you can pick the skin that you like the look of more.
The common thinking in the Fortnite community is that brighter skins are easier to spot when playing, so if you like to try to get every little advantage, then the Shadow skins make sense due to their darker colors.
We plan on picking at least one skin from each side, just in case there is something you can only do in a Ghost or a Shadow skin at some point throughout the season. Better safe than sorry! We are also curious to see what happens when the second batch of missions for Brutus’ Briefing go live in the game. Is there a chance that Shadow and Ghost skins can open the specific doors and chests that are locked with ID scanners?
We will update this guide as the season progresses, and we learn more about both groups, and if there is any in-game difference between the skin options.
We have plenty of other useful guides that you might find helpful. From how to get Deadpool, where to find Deadpool’s letter to Epic Games, and how to deal damage to henchmen, and how to customize your new Maya skin you can get from the Battle Pass.
