Update 1.1 will be Genshin Impact’s first major update since the game has launched, and people are eager to learn as much as they can about the upcoming content. In this article, we will collect all rumor and confirmed information about the upcoming release, update it regularly with new rumors, remove squashed rumors, and add any confirmed information that miYoHo releases over the coming weeks.
What is the Genshin Impact update 1.1 release date?
miYoHo has just announced that Genshin Impact 1.1 will be coming on November 11.
Buffs and Nerfs
One of the bigger rumors is around buffs and nerfs for certain characters. Diluc, Venti, and Fischl will be getting nerfs, while Mona, Keqing, and Beidou are rumored to be getting buffs. Exactly what these entail is not known just yet.
There are reported to be four new characters on the way. Zhongli is a 5 Star Geo users armed with a polearm, Child is a spear-wielding 5 Star Water elemental user, Xinyan is a 4 Star Pyro user, and Dionna is 4 Star a Cryo user. You can also look forward to a new city being added to the game in the form of Inazuma.
The update will apparently include an Oculi Compass that will help you track down those Anemoculus and Geoculus that you are missing, which would be a superb addition to the game, in our opinion.
No new region
While a new region was rumored to be on the way, that has now been dismissed by a fresh batch of rumors. This potentially makes sense, as the map is quite large already, and if a lot of people are still exploring it, then the devs might feel they have a little more time to polish a new area.
Apparently, we will be getting new 4 Star Claymores and Spears, which is good news for Razor lovers.
That’s all we have for now, but we will keep this article updated regularly as new rumors and news break.
