Cross is only there if you can only find one of the following bouncing weapons; you can replace it if you can find two. Crown helps to build experience quickly. They are designed to keep enemies away or heal you, hitting multiple enemies around you at once. Once all weapons are fully evolved, you can even stand in one spot and let enemies come to you while you take care of real-life tasks like chores.
